The Hour of Code
Rolling Hills Families,

Computer Science Education Week is December 9-13

Here at school, many kids will be participating by completing an "Hour of Coding." In doing so, they will work through various puzzles to start to understand the basics of computer programming. This nationwide initiative/week is established to build interest in and skills around technological programming and coding. The opportunities are endless!

Below is a link to the website in the event that your child(ren) would like to do more programming at home. I encourage you to check it out with your students and participate as well!

You can also see the impressive list of schools registered to participate-- I'm excited to have Rolling Hills on board as well! We will have one of the largest participation rates in our district.

Thanks

Adam McKenzie
